Decluttering
“A place for everything and everything in its place”
– Benjamin Franklin
What is Decluttering?
Decluttering is a process that helps you sort through your belongings, identify the items you no longer love or need in your life and create homes for the things you do love and need.

Who is it for?
Decluttering is for everyone as clutter drains our time and our energy and takes up valuable space in our homes and workspaces but also in our minds.
Downsizing or moving house, declutter before you do, don’t bring unnecessary boxes with you.
It’s for anyone who has a wardrobe full of clothes but nothing to wear!
How much paper is too much? I will help you organise and keep the important papers.
How long does it take?
After the initial consultation, we work out a plan and a timescale together to suit you. Each situation is different, in some cases I spend three hours once a week on an ongoing basis, in other situations it could be up to three full days or more in a row. Decluttering is an emotionally draining and with my experience, I go at your pace and we get the job done.

Who decides what is to go and what is to keep?
You have the decision on what goes and what stays, I am the voice of reason and I am there to support you in your decisions. We will sort everything into categories, what is kept, what goes to charity, what needs to be fixed or what needs to be thrown out.

How does it work?

How much does it cost?
I charge €40 an hour with a minimum of three hours. The price is reduced for a full-day.
I travel all over the country and additional mileage cost may occur, depending on the distance I am traveling.
I am a member of APDO The Association of Professional Declutters and Organisers and I follow their code of ethics. I will ensure confidentiality at all times and I have my own insurance.
